Who they are
Two friends formed the G-Class Centre in 2005, each had an interest in motor vehicles both old and new. They both had a particular penchant for four wheel drive vehicles for both daily transport and more importantly those fun days playing in the fields, water or sand. They really are “Big boys playing with big boys toys”. (Some would say one of them is a really big boy, or as his children refer to him, Fatbloke, others would say they have all entered the mid life crisis, buying and messing about with lots of vehicles.) None of it seems to bother them one iota.
Having driven most 4 X 4 vehicles in there many years in the motor trade, they both agreed that the most versatile, rugged, comfortable and long lasting vehicle, has to be the Mercedes G Wagen. Whether it be an early model restored to its former glory, or transformed into a pure off road beast, right up to the later models offering more in the way of modern conveniences.
The two friends have a very varied experience in the trade ranging from Senior Management roles to owning their own companies. These involve not only the sale of vehicles, but financing, servicing, preparation and repair. The main thing that comes across however, on meeting these two individuals is their attitude to life. They are both of a laid back attitude, some would say “falling over”, but with a commitment to achieve their objectives, with work playing a major role in all their lives. Meeting them is a pleasant but at the same time unforgettable fun experience.
What they do
